Learning how to forgive

To respond to being hurt with kindness and forgiveness is one of the most difficult things we can ever be called upon to do. Even though we may admire others for responding to someone who hurts them with love, when it’s our turn to be faced with a similar challenge, we still seem to respond with anger, anguish, depression, self-righteousness or hatred. Nevertheless, forgiving and letting go of past suffering really is the kindest thing we can do for ourselves.

This collection of teachings contains some of Rinpoche’s best advice on how to apply bodhichitta and lojong to reach a point of genuine forgiveness.
